Description:
Bach's works arranged in the form of chamber concertos, the fresh dynamism of the cleanly arranged works Bach led the Collegium Musicum, the ensemble he inherited from Telemann, and gave weekly concerts at the Caf Zimmermann in Leipzig. Since he had to prepare several instrumental pieces and could use several harpsichords in the caf, he arranged his own concertos from the past into harpsichord concertos. Some of these pieces have lost their original scores, and are now widely performed in versions that restore the original form. Recorder player Michael Form, playing his own instrument, has created his own restored version of the harpsichord concerto in the form of a "chamber concerto" with no distinction between soloist and accompanist. In addition, organ works, cantatas, and Brandenburg No. 2 are similarly arranged and recorded. Bach's music has been reborn with a fresh sound. King International
