Chinese rose family porcelain cooler/planter. The earthenware is polychrome decorated with grotesques with lion heads and coats of arms. This very beautiful cooler is oval in shape with a scalloped golden border decorated with a lion mask and an armorial crest flanked by a floral decoration. The heraldic shield represents a standing lion.
