Description:
[PINK FLOYD ORIGINAL ALBUM PAPERSLEEVE COLLECTION 2nd phase] Finally realized! The last BIG paper cover. The ultimate paper jackets of Pink Floyd, which reproduce the original UK LPs as much as possible, are now available. This album was produced under the leadership of Roger Waters, and is a concept album that is a scathing critique of social issues by replacing the human world with that of animals. The design credits for the cover, which features a pig, which later became one of the band's icons, flying over the Battersea Power Station on the River Thames in London, include Waters' name along with Aubrey Powell and Storm Torgerson of the Hypnosis. As if pulled by the extreme content of the album, the sound also became tighter and more aggressive, indicating the growing influence of Waters within the band. The album was a hit, reaching No. 2 in the U.K. charts and No. 3 in the U.S. as well.(Released in 1977) Reissue of the original UK analog LP jacket as much as possible Reissue of the first Japanese edition obi/commentary, lyrics and translation included Remastered sound source 2011 Paper jacket specification Paper jacket points - Jacket: E-style double (gatefold, facing) / thicker than usual at the spine Inclosures: 2 copies of the AB side of the label Interior bag: current CD label side with lyrics printed on it (custom label side) Enclosure: 2 copies of label side AB Inner bag: printed lyrics, cardboard with rounded corners Label side: current CD label side with jacket design (custom label AB side design is enclosed separately: *Picture label with different AB side design)
